RULES AND DETAILS FOR RAFFLE:
The 26th Yankee Division Historical Reenactment Group, Inc. is a non-profit corporation chartered in the state of New Hampshire. The mailing address is P.O. Box 711, Wilton, NH 03086-0711. The organization is also known as "the 26th Yankee Division" or just "the YD". The proceeds from this raffle are for the benefit of the YD's ongoing public educational programs and activities.
Tickets are $5.00 each. This raffle is limited to only five hundred (500) tickets sold!
A winning ticket is not re-entered.
The date of the drawing is April 19, 2012 (Patriots Day), OR sooner if all 500 tickets have been sold. Winner need not be present to win, and will be notified by phone or mail.
Winners will be posted on the YD website.
The First Prize is a fully functioning M1 Carbine (manufactured by Inland), PLUS a reproduction paratrooper folding stock OR the winner may choose $650.00 cash.
The Second Prize is a brand new, quality reproduction M3 fighting knife with a leather paratrooper scabbard AND a brand new in the box reproduction M1 bayonet with scabbard OR the winner may choose $150.00 cash.
The Third Prize is Volume 1 and 2 of the GI Collector's Guide -- Army Service Forces Catalog, U.S. Army European Theater of Operations written by Henri-Paul Enjames (These are both brand new books) OR the winner may choose $75.00 cash.
Any winner must meet certain eligibility requirements to win the rifle or a bayonet. The winner must be legally eligible to own and/or possess the prize, and have a valid license as required from the state where he/she resides. The rifle may only be shipped to a licensed dealer (FFL Holder), who will handle the transfer of the rifle to the properly licensed and legally eligible winner.
Winner will be responsible for any and all associated shipping/transfer fees.
The organization reserves the right to substitute the cash in lieu of the stated prize if a winner is ineligible to own and/or possess the prize or if his/her eligibility can not be determined within thirty (30) days from date of notification.
