Infantry Division Soldier Training
Sergeant Test:

The requirement for all Sergeant Candidates are: POSITION AVAILIBLE as
Assistant Squad Leader ( Based on the 1944 Infantry Battalion TO&E) Familiarity with the FM 21-100, FM 22-5 and  Squad Organization and Tactics as applied to the WWII soldier.

Tests are given in three Phases,
Phase-1, The historical fact relating to The Infantry Assistant Squad leader.
Phase-2, Military Drill & Ceremony and Manual of Arms ( Mastered / Instructing & Leading ) .
Phase-3, Technical Knowledge of equipment, weapons and Squad Tactics.  Knowledge of duties and responsibilities when taking over as squad leader.   Q&A Given by NCO Staff

Example:
1. Squad Tactics and Deployment of personnel.
2. Hand signals, squad movements & Squad Command ability.

Testing for Private First Class, Required for all Privates with a minimum of 365 days in the Yankee Division Historical Re-enactment Group.

:
The availability of Grades and Ranks within the Historical Re-Enactment Group is ultimately up to the unit Commander's.  Positions will be filled by the direction of the Unit Commander's.
